Established on April 17, 2020, UGM ASEAN Society is a student-run organization based in Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. This organization seeks to be a platform for UGM students who are interested in ASEAN to learn more about ASEAN, channel their opinions, and most importantly, build a network with those who are also interested in ASEAN. The society also welcomes incoming exchange students at UGM to join, participate, and contribute to society. UGM ASEAN Society connects students, academics, and policy-makers of ASEAN to exchange perspectives on issues pertaining to ASEAN.

This community consists of 6 Bureau/Departments. They are Finance and Administration, Event and Program, External Affairs, Human Resources, Media and Information, and Research. The organization also maintains online presence through blogs, podcasts, webinars, and social media channels. UGM ASEAN Society seeks to become a platform for UGM students to publish articles concerning ASEAN.
